CENTRAL PARK

I spent Saturday afternoon in Central Park. It was surprising because the vision I had there was very different. I imagined a much smaller park, but it is actually a beautiful expanse.

I read that although the park looks natural, it is in fact almost entirely landscaped and contains several artificial lakes, hiking trails, two ice skating rinks, a sanctuary alive and diverse fields. Considered by the Guinness Book the green side of New York, the park was designed to give a warm climate city and forget the skyscrapers dominate scattered everywhere.
