Chambers street-Penn station - Ronkonkoma - Riverhead, Long Island.
It was a pretty good weekend. Five female students spent weekend in a traditional American' s family in Long Island. We Knew a couple called Bob and Berenice. They have an office in Manhattan, New York. They are lawyers. Berenice is Brazilian and has lived in New York since 1995. We arrived in their house on Saturday afternoon. We had a snack and went to take a bath in a big swimming pool. At night, we had a perfect dinner with candles, two dogs (Cloe and Mailow) and Brazilian song. On Sunday, we went to the beach and walked along the neighborhood. It was interesting.In the afternoon, we talked about our lives with the owner of the house and had a lot of fun. At 9:40 p.m. we took the train to get home. We learnt a lot: new vocabulary, the correct pronunciation of the words, informal words, etc...

Very nice Drika, I didn´t go with you but i´m very happy cause you enjoyed that experience, I didn´t spend 2 days in my host family, i spent only 2 hours but it was very nice too, they are very friendly people.
