Start the Summer PDPI with an interesting tour in China Town was fantastic. From that opportunity was possible to understand better how is important to know English in a global community. For us, English teachers, knowing more about the culture of different people in the world is really important.
We had a great time there!!! I feel a little bit confusing with those chinese talking all the same time with those interesting accent, but it was perfect the company.

ReplyDeleteWhen you learn some language we emerge in it culture. Now can you image in NYC how much culture we are learning from different pepole? I mean not directly from their language, but the food, clothes, behaviors.
It has been a great experience for us teachers from Brazil. We will have many things to talk our students.
