CENTRAL PARK

On June 23^rd I went to Central Park. What a colorful place! There, I enjoyed the trees, the gardens, the lakes, the animals and the people having fun. The Central Park is a good place for families make picnic or barbecue, for children’s play, to take pictures, read books and to relax. It’s a nice place to visit.

In my opinion this park is a place where happens integration of many elements of nature,of people from all over the world and of all kinds of activities. Because of that, we should call it colorful place.

Seeing the Statue of Liberty

I took the ferry to Staten Island to take a photo of the Statue of Liberty. This beautiful Lady is standing, holding a torch in his hand, lighting the American way and the others who want to visit the USA.The Statue of Liberty espresses the concept and ideals of personal freedom. It´s located on Liberty Island in New York Harbor. It´s a beautiful view from the ferry, and it´s free..

The amazing American Museum of Natural History!

Today we went to explore a new place in NYC. The American Museum of Natural History. I felt  like I was in the movie " A Night at the Museum". It was fantastic to see the animals, the dinossaurs and know about  human civilization and cultures around the world. I loved to see a small part of my country in it: the Amazonia.  It's very good to know that "my" Brazil takes part of this museum and who people from @ll over the world learn about it.

This Museum is one of the largest and most celebrated in the world. The museum complex contains 27 interconnected buildings housing 45 permanent exhibition halls, in addition to a planetarium and a library. The museum collections contain over 32 million specimens of plants, animals, fossils, minerals, rocks, meteorites, and human cultural artifacts. We could not visit everything we wanted but we intend to go back there and learn more about it!

9/ 11 Memorial: Forever...

I am very happy to be here in New York. All the places are very amazing and interesting to see, but the place that I visited and touched me in the deep of my heart was the 9/11 Memorial. Some years ago, I was watching this event so sad on the TV. . . Now, I am here in the same place where many people lost their lives. My wish at this moment is  to cry out, too loud to the world: Please, Stop with hate and prejudice. Let’s live in peace!

American Museum of Natural History

American Museum of Natural History is an amazing place to visit in New York City. It is one of New York City's most popular attractions and one of the largest museums in the world. Featuring four floors filled with exhibits on every natural history topic from dinosaurs and mammals to biodiversity and outer space. I was really impressed! It was a completed educational and interactive learning experience. I will be forever thankfull for this incredible experience.

Central Park and Hudson River Park

Since I was a teenager I heard about The Central Park or saw it in some movies or in magazines but I never could imagine that it could be so huge!!! I went there with some friends to do a picnic and everybody was so excited, we walked a lot and took some nice photos there, when we got tired we decided to sit down on the grass and have our delicious fruits and snacks. There were so many people there walking, running, playing football, talking with their friends, having a picnic or just relaxing. The park is so huge that i must go back again and again to visit all of it.

Hudson River Park is also very nice as well, but is smaller than Central Park.I`ve been there once at night and  you can see New Jersey on the other side of the River and especially at night when all the lights are on you can sit and admire that amazing landscape. I like running so this is my favourite place to run. Every morning I wake up very early about 6 a.m and got ready to run. Maybe one day i will get ready to take part in New York Marathon
